Thought you could do anything here's your rude awakening

 tee/ vintage from my dad
shorts/ H&M
flats/ New Yorker

I'm terribly sorry for my prolonged absence, but I had final exams and once those were done with I just wanted to spend some time with my friends, which left me with no time to blog. But I had so much fun these past days, on Sunday I went with some friends to a free Joss Stone concert in Lisbon and to watch part 2 of the Deathly Hallows, let me tell you, I  hadn't had that much fun in a while. Firstly James Potter, when slightly blurred out looked so much like a Portuguese comedian (José Diogo Quintela) that me and my friends went in an hysterical fit of  laughter that annoyed everyone around us, other than that we just laughed at the inaccuracies and the like, a lot of fun really. Then we went for a stroll in Chiado before the concert, we were in Brown's coffee shop when we spot what looks like Ashley Stymest, I tell you the resemblance was uncanny, down to the hip/grungy style Ash sports to the piercings and tattoos! I had the biggest fan-girl attack ever, even though part of my brain kept telling me "he's gay you're making a fool of yourself", well, we didn't care we were searching for a piece of paper to ask for his autograph when we listen closely and hear him speak in perfect Portuguese, as far as any of us knew Ash didn't speak Portuguese fluently but stranger things have happened, but then he gets up and all our hopes crumble when we realize he isn't as stick thin as Ashley nor as tall, we then had to face the harsh truth. Well he was still a gorgeous boy and we looked our fill, he was basking in our attention and looking smug, no one looks that much like a famous person without knowing, he's probably used to random people mistaking him for Ashley all the time.
Joss Stone's concert was a disappointment to be honest, not because she doesn't have an amazing voice but because her music doesn't really make you want to move, or do anything for that matter. X-wife however were amazing, I loved every second of their performance! And that's all for now, I'll be going in holiday shortly even though I have no idea where, we'll see...then there's Avante the comunist party summer festival I'll be attending with some friends, can't wait for that either! Anyways I shall resume the usual posting scheadual.

This week has been incredibly boring, I went out with my dad and brother in the hopes of catching a nice movie, but there was nothing interesting enough, and I'm saving the last Harry Potter to watch with my best friend, HP is kinda a big deal for us, we play text-based rpg about the Potterverse today still, long story short we ended doing a bit of shopping, I love shopping, but I really wanted to watch a movie, so I ended up a little bummed out. I've been studying to my final exam which is tiring, not to mention boring. But I'm going out with some friends this Friday, something simple, probably a quiet bar, studying and hangover don't quite match. Besides studying I've been watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic like a bad habit, that's what you get from spending too much time on memebase, I just wanted to know what all the hype was about, and ended up being sucked right in.

I think grunge was the best the 90's left us, at least fashion wise, it's so umbelievably uncomplicated, I only wish my shorts had oil stains for the look to be truly complete.
I'm bored, there's not much going on right now. Pride was so awesome, why does it only happen once a year? I guess the best things always do.
I want to grow my hair out but it's driving me crazy, I like either short hair or long hair, medium lenght  just annoys me, I have to control myself not to cut it again...gah, any of you know any good tips to make hair grow faster?

Electricity wires are down, rainbow colours fade into brown

 top/ Primark
shorts/ H&M
shoes/ All Star
watch/ vintage casio

I'm one of those people who believes All Sars weren't made to be washed, so I never did. I probably had them for four years, they're not too shabby considering how much I've worn them. They tell stories, I should have taken a close up so you could see all the writing on them, basically bands, anime characters, and silly things written by friends, that consist mainly of how irresistible they are and how badly I want to do them.
Also, I've been liestening to Jónsi , love, love his songs, my current favourites are Lilikoi Boy and Animal Arithmetic

I've been so busy  this week, hence not updating nor answering all your lovely comments; two exams down, two more to go, but those are only in the end of July so I can breath for a while. I didn't realize how late exam season was in Portugal until I started blogging, then again our school year starts quite late, and we have massive holidays. Besides stressing over exams, that weren't even all that hard, I re-discovered my love for Angry Birds, went on a diet, dropped said diet, had a very heated discussion about politics with friends, in a cafe filled to the brim with people who couldn't care less, and were very vocal about what they thought, started writing again, considered changing my cigarette brand, only to change my mind right after when I realized that John Player is the only man I'll ever love.
Was your week as amazingly thrilling as mine?

burn my sweet effigy

headband/ bought it in Trocadero shopping centre
skirt/ bershka
socks/ Primark
shoes / Sango (japanese brand)

This outfit was solely inspired by the shirt, I bought it months ago and never got to wear it, today I found it laying in the back of my closet and figured it was a day as good as any other to wear it. It has a very awkward cut so it can only be worn tucked in, to be completely honest I don't know how I feel about the whole outfit, too much pink, I'm kinda regretting the socks...but oh well. I should be revising for the exams, but I'm procrastinating which is typical. The only bright light in my horizon is Arraial Pride (the party before pride parade which is the weekend after), which I'm finally attending this year, the 25th can't come fast enough.

'Till we meet again

 headband / bershka
necklace / street fair
sweater / Rose Fan Fan (Japanese brand)
shorts / H&M
sandals/ Zara

Yesterday was my last school day, I'm now done with Highscool, excited to start uni, but I know it will be awkward in the beginning without the people I came to depend on this last three years. I'll miss them like crazy, we had so much fun together, and it was amazing how a group of such different people managed to build such a solid relationship. This isn't goodbye as I'm sure we'll see each other again, but it won't be as often, and it won't be the same thing. I'll also miss my teachers, especially my Art History teacher, who is one of the most amazing women I've met.
